Enjoy your own retreat from the stresses of the world and come to our cottage on Sunrise Lake. You will have direct access to 75 ft. of frontage right outside your door. You can fish for bass, crappy or pike from the rowboat provided. Or just sit on the covered porch and enjoy the views. The swimming is great at adjacent Sunset Lake! There is also a canoe at your disposal. There is a full eat-in kitchen that seats up to 8 around the pine farm table. There is also a stove, microwave oven, coffee maker, refrigerator and gas grill. Or dine out---the Wheel Inn serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, just a short ride away, in Benson.

Bring your own linens. There are two bedrooms, one even has a crib in case you have a young one with you. There is also a queen-sized sofa bed in the living room.

There is no smoking allowed inside the cottage. No pets are allowed to stay at, or visit the cottage due to problems we have had in the past!

You are 40 minutes from Rutland--they have a terrific Farmer's Market on Saturdays from 9am - 2pm. Only 1 1/2 hrs. from Burlington and closer to Vermont Teddy Bear factory, Shelburne, Morgan Horse Museum and Middlebury.

We rent from June thru September. Our rate is $700/week with a 50% deposit upon booking. We rent from Saturday to Saturday; check-in is at 1pm and check-out is 11am. Before July 2nd week, and after Labor Day, we allow 2 night minimum stays for $125/night.
