We are offering our house with a private beach on Lake Champlain in Shelburne, Vermont. The home is located on a quiet, private road winding between an orchard and the original enclave of the homes and cottages on the lakeshore. Located at the broadest part of the lake, the property provides panoramic views across the water towards the Adirondack Mountains. Relax on the wide swimming beach and enjoy sunsets, campfires and the stars at night. The house features a spacious living room, dining and kitchen and screened sun porch spaces with lake views that are perfect for family gatherings. Outdoor dining on the bluestone patio is off the kitchen overlooking the lake and yard. Upstairs there are four bedrooms and two bathrooms (no first floor bath, one bath has tub only)plus a large loft space with 2 additional twin beds. We limit overnight guests to 6 so as not to overwork the well water system. We are strict about our rental rules and look for families well suited for the quiet,kid friendly neighborhood. The house has a well equipped, open kitchen, washer and dryer in basement and internet service is provided. Centrally located, the property offers lake shore living within 30 minutes to downtown Burlington and 40 minutes to Middlebury. There is convenient shopping in Shelburne and South Burlington and the easy excursions to the Shelburne Museum, Shelburne Farms, the Charlotte town center and by ferry ride to historic Essex, New York.

$5000 weekly, June -August. Monthly and longer term during the year may be available. Minimum night stay is 2 nights.
