Profoundly quiet, it offers privacy and seclusion but is within easy driving distance of restaurants, theaters, and shopping. Three miles to Woodstock Village, twenty-five miles to Dartmouth College. For those inclined to outdoor sports, hiking, biking and trail rides abound, (Green Mountain Horse Association just over the hill); cross-country or downhill skiing (Killington/Pico, Suicide Six, Ascutney) close by. Or you can go sledding out the back door.

Washer & dryer, satellite TV & wireless internet, solar electricity & hot water (automatic generator backup), woodstove, open fireplace, spacious deck. Firewood in shed. On private road (all-wheel drive highly recommended in winter).

No smoking, no pets (although the latter is negotiable).

Beds: Master bedroom has a king. Upstairs has four bedrooms: one has two twin beds; two have a double bed each; and the fourth has a queen.

Currently under long-term lease from DEC 2009 to end of MARCH 2010, the house is still available for entire month of APRIL 2010. It can be rented for two or three nights, by the week, the month, or longer.

$85 per person per night, plus 9% Vermont Rooms & Meals tax (required).
Two night minimum.

Security deposit: $500 (refundable).
Pet fee: $25 per pet per night.
$150 cleaning fee

Long-term rental (minimum thirty consecutive days):
$2500/month plus utilities, plowing & cleaning ($25/hr & hours negotiable between renters & house-cleaner).
Long-term rental pet fee: $15 per pet per night.
