Sheady Acres Cottages- Sugarhouse, Caribe, Teahouse, Unique!
“The Sugarhouse” is our honeymoon suite. Complete with a beautiful claw foot bathtub and vaulted ceiling, designed from a traditional Vermont sugarhouse. The smell of the local white cedar interior is as sweet as any grade of syrup. The Sugarhouse is also the “greenest” of our cottages, utilizing almost all local and recycled materials. A pine plank breakfast nook, spalted maple trim, and marble corner sink to name a few. The Sugarhouse is romance.
“The Caribe” is our ode to time spent relaxing. There is absolutely no reason the island life cannot be lived in any climate. The warm colors and textured interior make a blender drink in the middle of January seem completely appropriate. A slightly smaller bathroom leaves more room for lounging and jumping on the bed. Life is a beach, and that beach is in front of The Caribe at Sheady Acres. (Pets allowed)
“The Tea House” is a tribute to Asian culture. Simplicity. Symmetry. Sake. A pergola and large deck will lead you into this “Chashitsu”. You will find a timber framed ceiling, bamboo floors and counter top, as well as shoji doors. This may be your only chance to stay in a Japanese pagoda in Northern Vermont. Enjoy yourself, it’s later than you think.
All of our individual cottages sleep 2-3, with towels and bedding.

Cottages are outfitted with a fridge/freezer, convection oven,hot plates, microwave and full complement of dishware and kitchen amenities. Cottages have natural queen size New Englander pillow-top mattresses, flat screen satellite television and wireless internet. There is on-demand hot water and adjustable propane heat.
These four season, unique cottages are nestled in the hills of northern VT on 25 acres, open 365 days a year. Please ask us about discounted ski passes. Vast Trail is 3m away or 5m with parking.
10/21 - 12/14 and 4/1 - 5/31: $125/night, $550/week.
12/15 - 3/31 and 6/1 - 10/20: $135/night, $650/week.
Holiday weeks $150/night, $750/week.
