The Birch Alp Chalet is furnished with authentic alpine and Swiss decorations. It has two bedrooms and a kitchen-living-dining room. It has a big deck overlooking the farm to the west and to watch the sunsets from. It is within walking distance of the Appalachian Trail and the Clarendon Gorge, a great swimming hole. It is available from May 2010.
On the same farm, you can also rent our Shady Maple Cottage. It has lovely views of Bear Mountain and the meadows and wildlife. It has two small bedrooms, kitchen, dining nook, and living room and is completely furnished. It has a porch. It is available from June to November 2010 for $650/month plus utilities.
A one-bedroom cottage on the Appalachian Trail is available from May 2010. It has one bedroom, full bath, and living-kitchen-dining area. Summer rate is $580/month.
A ten-minute walk from the Long Trail, Appalachian Trail and Clarendon Gorge. Ideal for fishing and swimming. Covered bridge and old mill in the village of East Clarendon. Close to ski areas - 20 minutes to Killington and 20 minutes to Okemo. Near Route 103.
