This charming private home has true Vermont flavor inside and out. Nestled into a wooded mountain above the White River just off Rt. 100, you are only about 11 miles from the Killington Resort access road, or another 30 to 40 minutes up Rt. 100 to Sugarbush and Mad River Glen.
The house features a large fieldstone fireplace centered in a cathedral ceiling living room with hardwood floors and pine trim throughout. Lovely views come through sliding glass doors off the dining room, leading to the covered deck with a large stainless steel gas grill. More views and natural light shine through a large, wood-beamed atrium adjoining the living room and a second atrium in the master suite.
The 4 bedrooms can sleep up to 10 people and the fold-out sofa will accept two more. There is a master suite upstairs with a king-size bed, private bath, and a loft with a sauna. There are 3 bedrooms on the lower level featuring one double-bed room, a one-bunk-bed room, a two-bunk-bed room, as well as 1.5 baths and a washer & dryer.
The roomy kitchen and nearby wet bar has all you will need to entertain or serve family meals on a large dining room table with views of the fireplace.
Ski, snowshoe, hike, fish, play tennis, golf, or just relax and enjoy the serene atmosphere.
