Affordable & Lovely: Trad. Vt Farmhouse Near Burlington
1800 sq ft: Wood floors, high ceilings, original woodwork, laundry, dishwasher, microwave, new kitchen and 1.5 bath (original deep tub/new tiled surround), library/den, TV/DVD, many family antiques, small glass-front woodstove (no fireplace or cable). 1 queen, 2 doubles, 2 twins (can convert to king). Quality mattresses, bleached cotton linens, spreads & quilts. Back porch, lawn.
Places to sled, snowshoe, x-ski, jog, walk, swim (secluded, deep spring-fed pond). Hinesburg village - 5 minutes- has a good grocery store, 2 restaurants, Chinese-sandwich- pizza take-outs, physicians, massage therapy, hardware, gas, library, public tennis court, playground, etc.
Beaches 10-25 minute drive, nightlife in Burlington area 20-30 minutes, five ski areas 30-60 minutes, fine dining 15-30 minutes, Shelburne Museum 15 minutes, Middlebury Village 40 minutes. Various churches and synagogues are 5 to 25 minute drives.
Our farming includes hay, corn, grass-fed beef cattle, a few horses and small animals, and organic vegetables. Wagon or 5-person ATV rides available for an extra fee - when farm work permits.
Not a luxury house! But a lovely, clean, comfortable, warm, and inviting home. We are returning this - our Grandpy's house - to a vacation rental as of Dec 08 and look forward to meeting you.

Available year round - Rates depend on # of guests/housecleaning services:
Sept - May per week: $850 (using 2 bedrooms), $900 (3 bedrooms), $950 (4 bedrooms).
Sept - May per night: $225, $250, $300 (minimum 2 nights).
Holiday, foliage, college event weeks: $950, $1000, $1050.
Holiday, foliage, college event nightly: $250, $300, $350 (minimum 2 nights).
June - August per week: $900, $950, $1000.

*VT rooms tax (9%) added on rentals of 30 days or less.
